Sarcococca Hookeriana Humilis Winter Gem

Rounded, low growing, evergreen shrub. Hundreds of tiny but extremely fragrant flowers bloom beneath the foliage in winter and spring  highly fragrant floral scent. Black fruits follow in summer and autumn. Great option for a ground cover, and if you’ve got an elevated slope or bank, consider planting ‘Winter Gem’ up there so its wonderful fragrance carries further. 

Part shade-full shade. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Protect from high winds. Zone 6-9.

Attracts pollinators, drought tolerant, tolerant of urban pollution. 

Pruning: not required, death and damage can be removed at anytime.
