Very desirable fall flowering shade plant. Vigorous branching plants with slightly cupped flowers on wiry stems held above deeply divided dark green leaves. Vigorous. Part shade in fertile, moist, but well drained soil. Love to be mulched but dislikes being moved once established. Zone 5-8. Plant in shady border with hosta, ferns, astilbe, digitalis, myosotis, brunnera, dicentra, and cimicifuga. Rabbit and deer resistant.
