Does best in a sunny site in well drained fertile soil. Tolerates a hot, dry site. Great cut flowers. Dead head to encourage re bloom. Plant with long flowering plants for the sunny border or wildflower meadow. Plant with heliopsis, yarrow, coreopsis, daylilies, liatris, helianthus, rudbeckia, and ornamental grass.
