Hemerocallis Fragrant Returns

A sport of Happy Returns but with a nice strong fragrance. Consistently blooms from May to frost. Very heat tolerant. Blooms open at dusk, stay open all night and the next day. Tough and adaptable plants in average to rich well drained soil. Plant in full sun or light shade, but they need considerable sun for optimum flowering.  Small stature makes it perfect for container growing or front of border. Favored for large scale and massed plantings because of their adaptability, rapid spread, and extended bloom. Plant in tough spots like banks and swales or in combination with shrubs and trees. Good for foundation plantings or as accent plants for summer bloom in borders.
