This Hibiscus has a compact habit full of rich green foliage that gives a lush background to dazzling pink blooms. They emerge later in the spring than most shrubs, however they are fast growing. Because they tolerate boggy soils, Hibiscus mosheutos are great zone 1 rain garden options as they handled standing water for a period of time.
Deer resistant, attracts pollinators.
Full sun - part sun. Average, moist-wet soil. Zone 4-9. Protect from winter winds.
Deadheading can maintain neat appearance but is not necessary for continued blooming.
