This hydrangea looks like a classic Pinky Winky but with full mophead flowers. It also blooms much earlier. Strong stems hold the flowers upright in the garden. An excellent cut flower. Sun exposure with a minimum of six hours of sun daily. In hot areas, morning sun and afternoon shade are best. Plan to cut these plants back by about one-third in early spring to build up a strong base while encouraging vigorous new growth to produce lots of blooms. Good as a border plant, in a container, good cut flower, dried flower, in the landscape, for mass planting or as a focal point. These shallow-rotted plants can benefit from a 2-3â layer of mulch. Zones: 3-8.
