This is one of the most shade tolerant flowering shrubs producing white, upright, cylindrical clusters of attention grabbing blooms from early-mid summer. Thick dark green foliage is luscious over summer, before transitioning to autumnal reds, oranges, and yellows. Tolerant of boggy soils 'Fizzy Mizzy" is a marvelous option for zone 2 of rain garden where water is held both during and a few hours immediately after rain events. With good erosion control, consider this smaller mounded shrub for slopes and stream banks.

Full sun- shade. Best blooms and fall color in higher sun. Any soil that is moist- wet, Zone 5-9.
Itβs petite size makes it a perfect shrub for any garden. The spikes of upright flowers have a wonderful fragrance that attracts pollinators. Compared to 'Little Henry', 'Fizzy Mizzy' has a tighter, more upright form with the flowers held more upright.
