'Summer Snowflake' is an upright Viburnum cultivar whose leaves, flowers and foliage are generally smaller than other cultivars, but that doesn't mean their any less beautiful! Persistent lacy white flower caps bloom first in spring, followed by sporadic blooms that carry into fall. Foliage is strongly veined adding beautiful texture, and while the leaves are deep green in spring and summer, they dawn a dark burgundy red-purple in fall. 'Summer Snowflake looks lovely as a specimen or in groups, or in boarders, foundations, and hedges.
Full sun - part sun. Average, consistently moist, well-draining soil. Zone 5-8.
Attracts pollinators including birds and butterflies, drought tolerant once established.
Blooms on old wood - prune as needed immediately after flowering.
