Viburnum x Pragense

Semi-evergreen viburnum with large, thick, glossy green  leaves with puckered texture. Very hardy and more rapid growing than most viburnums. Pink buds give way to creamy white  fragrant flowers. Good red berries. Adapts easily to climate and cultural conditions. Favors moist acid to neutral soils in full sun, part shade or shade. The more sun the more blooms. My experience suggests it doesn’t like wet feet. Needs pollination for good fruit set. Use a viburnum rhytidophylloides, one of its parents for pollination.
