Hosta Hogwarts

This unique variety features very heavily corrugated, cupped, dark green leaves held tall on upright stems. As the wax dissipates the leaves take on a very attractive shine, it’s sure to bring some magic to the garden.

Long lived, easy to grow plants in filtered sunlight or full shade. Grows best in rich, moist soil but tolerant of dry shade once established.

Zone 3-9.

The mainstays of the shade garden. Mixed mass plantings of hosta can create an interesting groundcover of shapes and colors. Hostas emerge late in spring so interplant with spring flowering bulbs and ephemerals. Plant with ferns, tricyrtis, helleborus, pulmonaria, woodland phlox, and aster diviratica.
