Echinacea Sunmagic Vintage Lipstick

Tall, long lasting  perennial with coarse mid green lance shaped, toothed leaves. Outstanding flowers with shorter more upward facing petals. Cones provide seeds  for finches in winter. Long, reliable summer bloomer and cut flower. Summery-pink flowers that darken with age, with short non drooping petals around a dark central cone. Sunny site in well drained fertile soil. Grows best with adequate moisture but is tolerant of extended drought. Zone 5-8.
