Calycanthus Red Zepplin

This hearty Calycanthus is easy to grow and features showy purple foliage. Requires more sun exposure than other varieties for the best leaf color, including fall color displays. Small orange blooms have a light fragrance. Use in the landscape, mixed shrub borders

Small orangey red blooms appear in late Spring, early Summer. Blooms on old wood- Prune to size and shape directly after blooming 

Zones 4-9 | Native | Deer resistant | Full sun for best foliage color, tolerates shade | Rich, moist, well drained, acidic soil. Apply mulch annually.
