Faster growing evergreen variety with very high yields and good flavor. The tartness and sweetness is pronounced and well balanced. Fruiting will begin in the third season. Needs a different cultivar as a pollinator. Grow as a groundcover among other acidic soil loving plants such as azaleas, blueberries, rhododendrons or pines.
Very cold hardy but they may need protection from drying winter winds if there is no snow cover.
Blooms on old wood, pruning is unnecessary.
Zones 3-7
Shallow roots need to be kept consistently moist but not soggy. They need soil very rich in organic material such as leaf mould, compost, peat moss, and mulch. They also perform best at a pH level between 5.0 and 6.0. Full sun to part shade.
