Non-suckering plant. Very hardy. Large pale yellow flowers. Not as fragrant as purple ones- but unusual for cutting or shrub border. RHS Award of Merit. Early to mid May. Often before the leaves have completely developed. Very fragrant. Yellowish-white single blooms. Can be used as a cut flower. Rich, moist, well draining soil with a neutral pH. Apply mulch annually.
