Hosta Ruby Earrings

The yellow leaves form an attractive, slightly puckered, cup shape with striking ruby red petioles extending about half way up the leaves.

Long lived, easy to grow plants in filtered sunlight or full shade. Grows best in rich, moist soil but tolerant of dry shade. 

Zones 4-9.

Mini and small hostas are perfect as border plants along paths or when you need to fill a small space in the shade garden. They thrive in dry shade even in competition with tree roots. Great plants for troughs and patio containers placed in shady areas.
