Regal, graceful plants with semi glossy, bronze green foliage. Plant forms an attractive mound and produces large feathery plumes. Relatively trouble/pest free plant.
Plant in rich, moist, yet well draining soil in full shade to part sun. If planted in a sunnier spot be sure to maintain adequate moisture.
Zones 4-9.
Great plant for bright color in shaded areas, very impressive planted in mass or waves of color. Plant with hosta, ligularia, monarda, digitalis, iris siberica and ensata, and alchemilla.
Deer and rabbit resistant, attracts pollinators. Tolerates Black Walnut trees.
