Scutellaria Incana Prairie Snow

An east coast native that provides weeks of color in mid summer. Compact plants with square stems and ovate, toothed, green leaves bear branching loose racemes of two lipped, tubular flowers. Branched stems bearing hooded, pure white flowers. Plant in full sun to part shade in average to dry soil. Prefers dryish, sandy or clay soils. Native to most of the Eastern US.
