Amsonia Cilliata Halfway to Arkansas

Has a very compact habit, gets dark, olive colored stems, needle-like foliage, is very eye-catching in the spring. Leaves turn golden in fall. Pale-blue star-shaped flowers. Ordinary garden soil in part shade or full sun.  Amsonia are native to the Eastern US.     Hardy in Zones: 4-9.  Heat tolerant. Native to North America.
