Anchusa Capensis Blue Angel

A short, compact strain with widely branched stems. Coarse, with hairy leaves and bristly stems that bear innumerable clusters of brillant blue flowers.  Long bloom period. Easily grown in ordinary garden soil in full sun to partial shade. Zone 6-8. Plant in middle of sunny border for true blue color. Plant with bright flowers such as poppies, yarrows, peonies, coreopsis, daisies, and ornamental grasses.
