Big, sturdy plant with handsomely lobed, large leaves. The hardiest of the windflowers and a mid summer bloomer that will take some sun. Profuse bloomer of 3 inch flowers on stiff stems. Full sun or part shade in rich, moist soil. Zone 3-9. Plant in mass for bold effect with cimicifuga, aconitum, campanula, ferns, and acteas. Deer and Rabbit Resistant.
