Astilbe Bridal Veil

Regal, rugged, beautiful,  pest-free plant with deep green, glossy foliage that is deeply cut and feathery. Plants grow from fibrous rooted crowns that form clumps. Pure white plumes brighten shady areas. Once planted they can be left alone for decades as it is a completely trouble-free plant, their one requirement being moisture. Plant in full sun in boggy area or part shade in moist, rich soil. Zone 2 - 9. Plant in mass along ponds or streams. Combine in shady border with ferns, hostas, ladys-mantle, solomon seal, and lungworts. Deer and Rabbit Resistant
