An abundance of bright shell pink blooms over finely cut fern-like foliage. One of the longest blooming astilbes. Once planted they can be left alone for decades as it is a completely trouble free plant, their one requirement being moisture. Plant in full sun in boggy area or part shade in moist rich soil. Zone 3-8. Plant in mass along ponds or streams. Combine in shady border with ferns, hostas, lady’s-mantle, Solomon's seal, and lungworts.
