Astilbe Delft Lace

Exciting new hybrid with dark glossy blue-green foliage with a lacy overlay.  Beautiful salmon pink blooms on strong red stems.  Great for moist areas sun-part shade. Once planted they can be left alone for decades as it is a completely trouble-free plant, their one requirement being moisture. Plant in full sun in boggy area or part shade in moist, rich soil.  Native to Asia.  Zone 3-8. Plant in mass along ponds or streams. Combine in shady border with ferns, hostas, ladys-mantle, solomon seal, and lungworts. Deer Resistant. Attracts butterflies.
