Plant forms a clump of heart shaped, frosty silver leaves with green veins, and produces a spray of airy blue flowers in mid spring. Full to part shade in average fertile soil. Medium growth rate. Zones 3-8. Plant in shady border or woodland walk where bright foliage will provide interest all season. Plant with spring bulbs, bleeding hearts, epimedium, tiarella, and woodland phlox. Deer resistant.
