Grass Carex Appalachia

Native to the dry woods of eastern North America, this sedge has a fine texture and fountaining habit making it a great groundcover in dry shady sites. Plant in well-drained soil in part or full shade.  Adaptable to a wide variety of soil types, but will NOT tolerate wetness. Zone 3-8.  Drought tolerant. It’s tidy clumping habit makes it a perfect feature in a container, rock or stump, or in a border planting along a walkway. Deer Resistant.
