Native, evergreen sedge with vigorous, beautiful silvery blue leaves, 1/2 inch wide. Forms nice rounded clumps about a foot high and wide. Good naturalizer for a moist shady area. Average to rich soils in full to part shade. Drought tolerant once established. Zone 5-9. Effective as a groundcover and in mass plantings for a shady area. Deer resistant.
