Coreopsis Showstopper

Large, rose red flowers  are held above a mound of thread-leaf foliage.  A visitor favorite to the Mt Cuba coreopsis trials. Thrives in a wide range of growing conditions. Loves full sun and well drained soil, drought tolerant once established. Coreopsis are native to the US.  Zone 5-10. Plant in sunny rock gardens or toward the front of sunny borders for all summer color. Plant with yarrows, crocosmia, salvia, coneflowers, daisies, and hyssop.
