Easy to grow in a sunny site with average, to sandy, well drained soil. Does not like a site that is wet over winter. Zone 4-8. Plant in rock gardens or particularly useful as edging plants in the front of a sunny border or walkway with sedum, gypsophila repens, creeping phlox, short yarrows, and alpine aster.
