This dianthus features double blooms with crimson red centers and lighter rosy-red edges. The foliage is greenish-blue with narrow leaves. A nice long-lasting addition to any landscape. Easy to grow in a sunny site with average to sandy, well-drained soil. Plant in rock gardens or particularly useful as edging plants in the front of a sunny border or walkway with sedum, gypsophila repens, creeping phlox, short yarrows, and alpine aster.
