Strong growing perennial that is very tough and adaptable. It favors sunny sites, but will tolerate light shade. It is not recommended to divide this plant because it will self seed. Magnus is great for perennial borders and informal meadows. It does well when planted with monarda, phlox, stachyes, liatris, yarrow, leucanthemum, and grasses. In a native garden combine with goldenrod, butterfly weed, and black-eyed susans.
