Fern Athyrium Nipponicum Metallicum

One of the most colorful ferns for the garden, this plant has silvery-grey fronds which are dusty purple towards the center.  They are set off by the purplish-red veins and stems.  Grows best in moist soil in light to partial shade.  Some sunlight is necessary to produce the vibrant coloring.    Zone 4-8. Combines well with colorful heuchera, other ferns, hostas, campanula, and columbines. Deer and rabbit resistant.
