Fern Athyrium Nipponicum Regal Red

This is a beautiful selection of Japanese painted fern with pronounced red stems and veination.   Spreads by creeping rhizomes.    Shaded moist garden where the soil is loose so rhizome and roots can spread well. Zone 4-9. Combines well with colorful heuchera, other ferns, hostas, campanula, and columbines.
