This interesting little fern has green star shaped fronds with silvery white coating on undersides. It does well in rocky well drained soil. Deciduous. Woodland soil in part sun-shade. Drought tolerant. Likes dry soil. Zone 5-8. Easy care ground cover. Plant in woodland garden or shady borders with woodland phlox, jack-in-pulpit, hostas, tiarella, and toadlily. Drought tolerant.
