Foliage is bright, neat and well branched and the new growth is a copper-red color that transitions to a light green. From May - July, rich yellow flowers are held in upright clusters and fall ushers in brilliant orange fall color! Tolerant of a wide range of site conditions. Effective as a border, to fill a large difficult sites, and makes for an excellent ground cover. 

Deer resistant, attracts pollinators including humming birds, drought tolerant, erosion control. 

Full Sun-full shade. Average, moist-dry, well-draining soil. Zones 4-8. 

Blooms on new wood - prune in early spring to increase shrub density.
