Very sturdy, showy, drought resistant plant growing a vigorous clump of gray green leaves divided into rounded leaflets. Full sun-Part Shade in well drained, average to moist soil that is not overly fertile. Zone 4-9. Good middle of the sunny border plant that will have a shrub like effect. Plant with asclepias, aster, echinacea, garden phlox, iris, liatris, and salvia.
