Native American woodland wildflower. Requires little to no maintenance and is spectacular in an open woodland. Leaves a palmately divided on long stems that rise from the crown. Blooms are pink to lavender. Easy to grow in part shade to full sun. Tolerant of both wet and dry conditions. Zone 3-8. Geraniums have long been essential in borders and rock gardens. Valued as groundcovers, middle border bloomers, and accent plants. They are easy to care for and have varied and long flowering periods plus a variety of colors making them indispensable in planning a garden. Attracts butterflies. Deer and Rabbit Resistant.
