With stunning silver-veined foliage, the clump is topped in late winter with stalks of large violet-purple flowers. Pippa’s Purple is sterile with outfacing flowers. Divide every few years in late spring. Evenly moist, humus rich soil in light to full shade. Hardy to Zone 5a to 8b. Plant with ferns, hosta, lungwort, tiarella, crested iris, cyclamen, and sweet woodruff. Deer and Rabbit Resistant. CAUTION: Harmful if eaten/Skin irritant.
