This selection forms a sturdy mound of rounded leaves with gold to lime coloring and red veining. Evergreen. Sun to partial shade in well drained alkaline organic soil. Happiest in bright shade. Zone 3-9. Excellent plants for the front of the perennial border or among trees and shrubs. Smaller cultivars also good for containers and rock gardens. Deer Resistant, Attracts Butterflies & Hummingbirds.
