Heuchera Caramel

Drought and heat tolerant plant. Great groundcover or accent plant for shade with glowing apricot fuzzy leaves in the spring fading to soft amber by summer and turning an intense salmon red in fall. Blooms white in late summer.  Happiest in moist, well drained soil in bright shade, but will grow in full sun with consistent moisture. Zone 4-8. Will also tolerate full shade. Plant in combination with ferns, carex, polemonium, and hosta. Good plants for their varied foliage color. Invaluable plants for rockeries, front of borders, and as a groundcover under trees and shrubs. Most effective when planted in large groups.  Plant as groundcover under deciduous trees and shrubs. Deer Resistant.
