This dwarf, multi-stemmed upright Rose of Sharon produces brilliant white and red eyed flowers along stiffly supporting stems. Great in containers, or as a hedge or specimen.
Attracts pollinators including butterflies & hummingbirds, deer resistant, heat drought salt tolerant.
Full Sun. Average, moist, well-draining. Zone 5-9.
Fertilize with tree/shrub slow release fertilizer in early spring.
Blooms on new wood- If needed, prune in early spring, can be heavily prune its but not necessary.
Note: Rose of Sharon are later to leaf out in spring.
