Deep magenta anemone-like bloom cover soft, graceful stems that sway through the wind from summer to fall. Use in shrub border or as a specimen.
Attracts pollinators including butterflies and hummingbirds.
Full sun. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 5-9.
Blooms on new wood- If needed, prune in early spring, can be heavily prune its but not necessary.
Note: Rose of Sharon are later to leaf out in spring.
