'Sugar Tip' is a semi-dwarf Rose of Sharon with variegated cream and green leaves below double, pale pink, seedless flowers. Works well in the landscape as a hedge or scree, in perennial or shrub boarders, as a specimen, and can be planted in containers and moved inside or can be planted in fall.
Attracts pollinators including butterflies & hummingbirds, deer resistant, heat drought salt tolerant.
Full Sun. Average, moist, well-draining. Zone 5-8.
Fertilize with tree/shrub slow release fertilizer in early spring.
Blooms on new wood- If needed, prune in early spring, can be heavily prune its but not necessary.
