Semi- evergreen shade groundcover that spreads to form a dense mat of heart-shaped leaves held on thin wiry stems. Dainty spring flowers with spurs are held just above foliage. Moist to average humus-rich soil in partial to full shade. Once established will do well in dry shade. Plant around specimen plants in your shade garden or use as a groundcover around deciduous trees. Plant with hosta, tiarella, pulmonaria, woodland phlox and ferns. Deer and Rabbit Resistant.
