This native Redbud features orange emerging foliage that transitions to golden green throughout the season. In spring, tiny clusters of pinkish-purple buds open to light pink flowers and remain open for 2-3 weeks. . These flowers can be produced on one year whips. This tree is a delightful specimen but can also be grown in small groups, in lawns, shrub borders, and at woodland margins.
Full sun - part shade. Average, fertile, consistently moist, well-draining soil. Zone 5-9.
Deer resistant, attracts pollinators, clay and Black Walnut tolerant.
