Vigorus black leaved variety with lacy black foliage and lovely dark stems. Beautiful purple tinted white flowers raise 2 feet upward and carry an exotic perfume of grape and jasmine. Foliage will be darker in more sun. Part shade or full sun in moist humus rich soil. Needs constant moisture in full sun. Large dramatic contrast foliage plant for edge of woods or back of semi shady border. Plant with digitalis, anemone, Iris versicolor, and eupatorium.
