This compact mophead hydrangea grows wider than tall, and is formed of bushy dark green foliage. But what really make 'Forever & Ever Pistachio' stand out is the range of each mopheads coloring. Flower clusters are made up of deep magenta flowers that have bright green edges and deep deep purple/blue centers. Excellent in mass or as a specimen, and works well in foundation plantings, hedges, and containers. Flowers both fresh and dry are great for cut arrangements.
Part shade. Rich, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 6-9.
Attracts pollinators.
Blooms on old and new wood - if required prune after flowering. Winter death and damage can be removed in late winter/early spring.
Apply mulch at root zone to maintain even soil moisture.
