An elegant alternative to snowball blooms and Shorter than ‘Limelight,' this hydrangea has upright cone-shaped flower clusters, carried in airy tiers above dark green foliage. Works well in the landscape as well as a boarder plant or in containers. Great for cut flowers, both fresh and dried.
Attracts pollinators.
Full sun - part shade. Average-rich, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 3-8.
Apply mulch if planted in higher sun to maintain soil moisture.
Blooms on new wood - trim in late winter or early spring to encourage new growth.
Apply a controlled release fertilizer in early spring. Liquid feed may be needed in mid summer.
