Don’t be fooled, though soft and delicate in appearance, the buds of ‘Tiny Tough Stuff’ are very hardy. Additionally, buds occur on both old and new wood meaning continuous blooms from June to September. Flowers are light blue in acidic soil, and light pink to white in more alkaline soils. Beautiful in the understudy, in the landscape, as boarders, or as a specimen.
Attracts pollinators.
Full sun- part shade. Average, moist, well-draining soil. Zone 5-9.
Prune is generally not needed but shaping can occur immediately after flowering.
Adding aluminum sulfate may encourage blue flower color.
