With a substantial level of cold tolerance, Tuff Stuff  is a fantastic way for your landscape to gain some reliable color. In early summer, first lacecap blooms open on old wood followed the new wood’s flowers in late summer. Acidic soils cause flowers to be deep blue purple, or blooms could be pink in more basic soil. Looks great in containers or in the landscape as boarders, in mass planting or as a specimen. 

Attracts pollinators including butterflies. 

Full sun-part shade. Average, moist, well-draining soil. If planted in full sun, apply mulch to maintain soil moisture. Zone 5-9.

Pruning negatively impact flower production, however death or damage should be removed in spring.

Woody plant granular fertilizer can be applied in early spring.
