Taxodium Distichum Shawnee Brave 3 Gal

'Shawnee Brave' is a narrow, pyramidal cultivar, featuring flared trunks, distinctive knees protruding above the soil or water's surface, and soft, feathery, green and yellow tinged foliage that appears like a needled evergreen. However, this is a deciduous tree, and before those leaves drop in fall, they put on a show of attractive cinnamon-orange. Additionally, wrinkled, round, light green cones appear in late summer/early fall and mature to brown in winter. This tree makes a great specimen, or accent, and due to its ability to handle standing water for long periods of time this, Bald Cypress can be planted in the wettest zone, zone 1, of rain gardens.  

Full sun. Average, acidic, consistently moist-wet soil. Zone 4-9.

Deer resistant, erosion control, clay, wet, and air pollution tolerant.
